The faculty and leadership of AIT Budapest will continue visiting campuses this fall to describe the program and meet with interested students.

 

Gábor Bojár, founder of AIT will visit campuses in Iowa and Minnesota and Cornell U. in NY late October / early November:

Graphisoft SE and Graphisoft Park Ltd will erect a statute to commemorate Apple’s legendary founder, who passed away on October 5. The statue’s inauguration in Graphisoft Park (AIT campus) is planned for December 21.

Graphisoft considers Steve Jobs the greatest hero of the information age. To a large extent, Graphisoft’s software product, ArchiCAD owes its global success to him. In 1984, Apple was willing to give Graphisoft a chance.

The faculty and leadership of AIT Budapest will continue visiting campuses this fall to describe the program and meet with interested students.

 

The next set of visits will be by Prof. Andras Recski in New England in early October.  Prof. Recski is the Academic Program Director of AIT and will be visiting the following campuses:

AIT’s Inauguration Day is on the 19th June 2010. Program Founder Gabor Bojar introduces AIT, and speakers include Budapest Mayor Gabor Demszky, the CEO of Microsoft Hungary, Laszlo Drajko, and the Director of the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics (BSM) Dezso Miklos. Erno Rubik, inventor of the Rubik's Cube and a founding Board Member and instructor of product design at AIT, unveils a new sculpture of his own design.
